The weather forecast had rain all day today, and there was a little rain. But we were able to take a couple walks and buy new toothbrushes. We searched everywhere and couldn’t find the ones we had, thought we lost them. As soon as we got back from the store we found them! Let me tell you, it is not easy living out of your car! I feel for the people who have to!
That’s one thing we are seeing a lot, people who have no place to live. God has been so good to Sterling and I. We both have made some dumb choices that could have led us to bad situations, but God has not given us what we deserved. I really am shocked that I have ended up able to retire and travel. It isn’t due to my brilliance! But I sure am enjoying it! I’m especially looking forward to tomorrow.
Tomorrow we are heading out to Mckenzie Bridge. It’s a riverside mountain town 53 miles from Eugene. We had planned to get there on the 19th of May, but what with the car issues, we are ahead of schedule!
The second half of the way to Mckenzie Bridge is steeper than the first, so Sterling has kindly let me ride first. I’m super excited about this stop. I grew up near the Sierras, and my idea of a perfect place has pine trees and mountains. Plus it’s by a river! What more can you want? Plus we are finally getting into wilderness! What a lucky girl am I!

So glad to hear from you!
