It was nice waking up this morning in a comfortable bed! Plus when we got ourselves out of bed we went to the main room for breakfast! It was great!
Riggins is a tiny little town positioned in a very narrow valley between very steep mountains. And in that valley is a river that takes up most of the room. There just isn’t much flat land to be found. Here are some pics.

In this picture above two rivers come together. The one with white water is the Little Salmon River, and it joins the Salmon River. Here is an interesting map.

We are where the two rivers form a right angle!
The river is very impressive, especially next to these cliffs.

There are lots of fishermen here. Also you can go white water rafting.

It looks fun, but that water is deep, and moving fast.

The lodge we are staying at is so nice! Sterling and I spent some time enjoying the scenery.

California Poppies in Idaho! Don’t tell anyone!

People in Riggins seem to have a well developed sense of humor.

Horses?! in a motel??
Tomorrow we drive to Boise!
So glad to hear from you!
