TORREZ TRAVELS

We are still in South Carolina, on the coast. It’s still hot, but today we went on a bicycle ride anyway! We rode almost 13 miles. My Garmin watch said it was between 90 degrees and 99 degrees. I’m not sure what the humidity was. My watch always reads a little hotter than it really is, but I certainly felt hot. 😜

This is one of those Rail Trails. We started from an actual depot! Or what is left of it.

We saw several birds.

The classic blue heron.

And I think this is a reddish heron.

The trail we were on is called the Spanish Moss Trail as is evidenced by these pics.

The only places you can see very far here in So-Carol is the marshy areas. They are abundant.

Sterling said I was getting too big for my boots, or maybe it was vice-versa!
