We are visiting my brother and his family in Ft. Lauderdale. We got here on the 3rd of July, yesterday we celebrated Independence Day! 250 years! We got to see the fireworks. We haven’t watched fireworks for many years. Our last two dogs were afraid when the loud booms would start. We always stayed home with them and tried to keep them from panicking. It was very neat to see them again. Saturday morning we went to the beach and swam a little in the water. It was so nice to see a calm, warm ocean. Here is a picture of the sunrise.

Yes, there is a pool in my brother’s back yard. It’s quite refreshing!
