We are back in Jacksonville tonight. Today was a busy day. We had to get the oil changed in our car again. I also had the chance to meet with my sisters on Zoom. We stopped in Palm Coast at a Starbucks to use the wi-fi. It was really great to catch up with them. It was funny today because a big group of kids came in while we were talking. They stood against the wall behind me and waved at my sisters! Of course, my sisters waved back! It feels good having people break down the barriers between us!
I didn’t take many pictures today. I spent very little time outside. We thought it was hot when we got in the car this morning and it was 85 degrees. When we got to our hotel this afternoon it was 101 degrees at 4pm. We saw these Ibis at the gas station this morning.
And these flags as we drove to Jacksonville.
Tomorrow we leave the coast, and head toward Missouri. We are heading a little north first. We have to go to the Andy Griffith Museum in Mt. Airy, NC!
