TORREZ TRAVELS

We are visiting our daughter, Andrea in Joplin, MO. She lives with her boyfriend, Andrew. Here’s a picture.

They are very good for each other, I think.

We were so happy to see them. It’s been way too long!

Andrea has three daughters. Her oldest daughter, Triniti, has four daughters! The oldest, Prim, is about 5, Melody is 4ish, Kira is about 3, and Aurallia is not yet a year old. So that means we’re great grandparents! We all went to the river and played in the water. Here’s a picture of the river.

It was mostly shallow, and didn’t have a strong current. But the three oldest girls and their grandma and I were able to find water that was too deep and too strong a current for us, what with the slippery rocks and all. We did find little fish, crawdads, and snails. After we were out of the water a small beaver showed up, but he was very shy.

After that we went to another part of the park and played on a play structure with slides and climbing gear. We had so much fun the day just sped by. I had to sit down and cool off after a bit, but I was shocked to find out that the temperature had been in the low nineties, and the humidity was 75%. I hadn’t noticed the heat at all! I sure did enjoy those girls!

Today we’re going to Andrea and Andrew’s for dinner, and get to see her other two daughters, Taryn, and Tessa. Family is so much fun! ☺️
